Fully-automated MGC driving range opens

After a successful series of test runs, the Makati Golf Club, the country’s first fully-automated driving range, will start operations tomorrow as a prelude to its soft opening on Dec. 4.

The four-storey facility at 7232 Malugay St., Barangay Bel-Air, Makati, also houses the country’s first-ever Golf Mall with concept stores carrying the biggest brands in the world market like Mizuno, Callaway, Wilson, KZG, Taylor Made and S-Yard, the Custom Club Makers shop and many more.

Operating hours for the range will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, giving existing members and guests the opportunity for unlimited hitting. The teaching force is led by George Walker, Ruby Chico-Walker, Jun Cedo and Jorge Abad.

All the equipment distributors are also offering demos for their newly-launched clubs on particular days every week.

The Makati Golf Club is fast becoming the new sports hang-out in Metro Makati with its state-of-the-art technology that offers uninterrupted hitting and very bright lights and amenities like locker rooms and free parking.

It is managed by Club Management Corporation, the same outfit handling the multi-awarded Sta. Elena Golf Club with GG&A Club Share as the official marketing arm. GG&A has also entered into an agreement with Standard Chartered for a deferred payment scheme for share buyers.

Inquiries on the Makati Golf Club shares can be coursed through GG&A Club Shares at 840-1761 or talk to authorized agents at the site.
