Don Bosco rules under-16 football

TARLAC Don Bosco Technical Institute toppled San Vicente, 3-1, recently to rule the Tarlac Coke Go-for-Goal under-16 football championship at the Tarlac Sports Plaza here.
Alejandro Romero knocked in two goals to spark the DBTI boys triumph.
With the victory, DBTI earned the right to play the Baguio elimination champion for a place in the Luzon finals.
Romero, who was eventually named the tourneys most valuable player, struck in the seventh and 27th minutes.
The other DBTI scorer was Rafael Espinosa. Darwin Romero produced San Vicentes lone marker in the 12th minute.
Amucao High took third spot by nosing out San Manuel High, 4-3, in the other match.
Gil lusung led Amucao with two goals. The other scorers were Allen Castro and Alexander Rodriguez.
