This was, more or less, the appeal of PHA oficials when they guested yesterday at the weekly PSA Forum sponsored by Agfa Color, Red Bull and Pioneer Insurance at Holiday Inn Manila.
For a P5,000 entrance fee, a participant can help the PHA in its campaign to prevent heart attacks, strokes, rheumatic heart disease and other cardiovascular-related disorders, according to Dr. Edgardo Ortiz, chair of the PHA 50th anniversary.
Proceeds from the golfest will go to the enhancement of PHAs Continuing Medical Education, Research and Mass Information Programs.
First Gentleman Miguel Arroyo is the honorary chairman while DOTC Secretary Leandro Mendoza is the chairman of the event.
The Dr. H.B. Calleja Permanent Cup will go to the overall champion of the 18-hole tourney sponsored by PCSO, Pagcor and radio station DWIZ, among others. Champions and runners-up in classes A, B and C and the ladies category will also receive trophies.
