High Octane blazes to victory in Juvenile race

High Octane responded well to the prodding of jockey Pat Dilema yesterday as he ruled the second leg of the 2002 Philracom Juvenile Colts stakes race at the Sta. Ana Park.

Finishing second in the 1,450-meter race offering a top prize of P600,000 was Reigns Supreme followed by Savvy Lad, Go Ichi and early leader Arrivederci.

High Octane, owned by businessman-sportsman Hermie Esguerra, won the race in a minute and 30 seconds with quartertimes of 15-24’-23’-27. Ramon Romualdez
