AGC President’s Cup slated at Forest Hills

-
Members of the Architects Golf Club (AGC) are facing tough challenges at the formidable Forest Hills in Antipolo when they play the President’s Cup on Aug. 26. On top of the layout’s water hazards and bunkers, and the blustery wind, players would surely find the two-man aggregate format of the event a main cause for concern. Players need to watch not only their game but also that of their playing partners to have a crack at the championship and monthly tournament honors.

AGC president Mon Mendoza expressed confidence that members would find this month’s game another notable leg with Asean Timber Corporation and Crown Asia Compounders as sponsors.

The 2002 AGC monthly game is supported by mega-sponsor Boysen Paints. Other corporate backers are B.I.T Inc., Digital Cinema In Style, Colorsteel, American Standard, Asean Timber, Boral Plasterboard Phils., Brills Marketing, Carrier Air Conditioning, Centro Ceramica, CPAC Monier, Crown Asia Compounders, Daikin Air Conditioning, Datem, Dextelton Industrial, EEI Corporation, Emerald Vinyl, Finlevi Home Builders, Frabel Interiorworld, Fumaco, HCG Phils., House of Precast, James Hardie, Jardine Davies, JME Supreme, Kawara Roofing, Maramax Lighthouse, Multi-Line Design Systems, Philflex Wires & Cables, Puyat Steel Corp., Puyat Vinyl Products, R. D. Samaniego Roofing, R. L. Centeno, Republic Powdercoat, Riviera Filipina, Samitrade Inc., SMUG Construction, Tashi Marketing and Vimar Safety Switches.
