Shell Racing’s Joel Retuya and Jolet Jao aim to firm up their grip of solo leadership in their respective events as the 2002 PCSO Grand Prix stages its fourth leg today and tomorrow at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario Batangas.

Retuya, a native of Cebu, eyes another win to fortify his bid for the 2002 Formula Toyota Cup plum against teammate Mandy Borja, Team TEC’s Carlo Pastor and Victor Yap in the event sanctioned by the Automotive Association of the Philippines (formerly PMA) and sponsored by the Batangas Racing Circuit Association (BRCA), Pilipinas Shell, Toyota Motors Phil., MOF Shipping, Norkis-Yamaha, Marlboro, Casino Filipino, Kilton Motors Corporation and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

The multi-titled Jao, carrying the colors of Shell Advance-Rolex Engineering, hopes to bounce back in the Expert class of the Shell Advance Super Bikes Series against RS Racing’s Rod Scott and Access Plus-Ducati Manila’s Toti Alberto.
