PAF leads cast in football final

Six teams, led by highly-rated Philippine Air Force of the National Capital Region (NCR), will vie for honors in the national mens football championship all-Luzon regional finals set Aug. 6-10 at the Philsports field in Pasig City.
Other contenders in the tourney organized by the Philippine Football Federation are Masbate City, Baguio, Laguna, Camarines Norte and Rizal province.
This is the first time in PFF history that Luzon is holding a regional tournament to determine the top four teams that will join Visayas and Mindanao qualifiers in the national championship set early September in Bacolod City.
Air Force will be bannered by past and present members of the national squad, according to PFF president Rene Adad.
