It will be a tough battle among the countrys best drivers led by Caltex Havoline-Autoplus Jody Coseteng, Fujitsu Team Toms Jojo Silverio and Vincent Floirendo and Petron-SRAs Kookie Ramirez in this event sanctioned by the Automotive Association of the Philippines (formerly PMA) and sponsored by the Batangas Racing Circuit Association (BRCA) Board of Governors, Pilipinas Shell, Toyota Motors Phil., MOF Shipping, Norkis-Yamaha, Marlboro, Casino Filipino and Kilton Motors Corporation.
Coseteng leads the series with 60 points after sweeping the past four legs aboard his reliable Honda Civic prepared by Autoplus.
But Silverio, his best pal and toughest rival, is just close behind with 48 points. Getting the feel of his Toyota Corolla in the last leg, Silverio gave Coseteng a big scare moving too close for comfort in the first 10 laps.
Floirendo also proved tough as he finished runner-up in the kickoff leg. Hes third overall with 33 points and a big win will make the title race even more exciting.
