Philippine Christian University tries to move closer to unbeaten College of St. Benilde as it shoots for a fourth straight victory against winless San Beda today in the 78th NCAA basketball tournament at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
The Dolphins (3-1) tangle with the Red Lions at 4 p.m. hoping to make a fitting follow-up to their stunning 72-69 triumph over defending champion San Sebastian last Wednesday. The win moved them up at second place behind the Blazers (5-0).
Loreto Soriano and Jojo Roque are bent on making up for their below par effort in PCUs previous game although attention is expected to focus on PBL veteran Bernzon Franco, who erupted with 16 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter that knocked the Stags out.
