The Billiard and Snookers Congress of the Philippines is set to reshuffle event assignments on its players following the addition of Francisco "Django" Bustamante to the team which is expected to bring honors to the country in the coming Asian Games in Busan, Korea.
"Re-shuffling is one possibility the BSCP is entertaining. But its really up to the players and national coach Ricardo Ancaja to agree on that," said BSCP president Ernesto Fajardo.
Fajardo said hell call a meeting as soon as secretary-general Joaquin De Tagle and players Antonio Lining, Warren Kiamco and Lee Van Corteza arrive from Cardiff, Wales. De Tagle and the four players are due today.
Efren "Bata" Reyes and Bustamante arrived Monday night.
"Hindi pa kami makapag-decide kasi wala pa yung ibang players at si Mr. De Tagle pero sa tingin ko maliit lang na pagbabago ang mangyayari sa pagpasok ni Django," said Ancaja.
Ancaja said he will let Reyes to choose the events he wanted to compete in although the coach would prefer to field the player in eight-ball. Joey Villar
