Independence Day race today

All eyes will once again be on Wind Blown and regular jockey Fernando Raquel when the Philracom-Philippine Racing Club’s Independence Day stakes race is held today at the Santa Ana Park.

Wind Blown, fresh from winning an imported group race last Wednesday, will be installed as the favorite in the 1,600-m race with Batangas Entry, another quality racehorse, Staunch Ally and Sunny Contender out to provide the challenge.

The winner of the race to be flagged off shortly after 6 p.m. will earn P400,000.
