ICTSI-La Salle goes for solo lead

Following its big win over arch-rival Ateneo-Hapee last Friday, ICTSI-La Salle shoots for the solo lead today when it collides with Kutitap Toothpaste in the semifinals of the 2002 PBL Chairman’s Cup at the Makati Coliseum.

The Archers and the Eagles are on top of the five-team semis with identical 10-5. La Salle and Kutitap (9-6) have three wins apiece in the semis and the winner of the 5 p.m. match will move a win away from clinching the 5-of-8 incentive.

Blu Sun Power (9-6) takes on sister-team Shark Energy Drink (6-9) at 3 p.m. The Detergent Kings, who won two of their first four semis matches, need to win at least three of their last four games to avail of the 5-of-8 incentive.
