Mitsubishi cars staked in Yulo golf

Two brand new Mitsubishi Lancer GSR cars will be staked as hole-in-one prizes in the Jose Yulo memorial golf tournament with an initial list of 102 teams or 204 players confirming their participation in the 24th staging of the event Jan. 26-27 at the north and south courses of the Canlubang golf complex in Laguna.
The first car, with Invecs Sports Mode Automatic and compliments of Mitsubish Motors Phils., is up for grabs on No. 6 of the north course while the second, compliments of Diamond Motor Corp., is staked at No. 8 of the south course.
There will also be prizes lined up for other aces made on all the other par 3s of both courses.
Organizers of the event, sponsored by the Yulo family, said the listup is open until Jan. 24.
The overall winners will receive appliances and trophies while a home entertainment package, a trip to Hong Kong plus other fabulous prizes will be up for grabs in the grand raffle.
The tournament will be played under the PAL Stableford scoring system with the aggregate scores of the member and his/her teammate counting for the team. A member will have a maximum handicap of 26 for male and 32 for female. The guest will have a maximum handicap of 18 for male and 24 for female.
Free practice rounds will be held from Jan. 21-25.
