Eagles start quest for playoff berth

TPG Davao shoots for the first of two victories it needs to clinch a playoff spot in the Southern Conference as it takes on Nueva Ecija in todays resumption of the second phase of the MBA season at the La Salle Gym in Lipa City, Batangas.
The Eagles are currently at the bottom of the standings with a 2-8 (win-loss) slate behind the Socsargen-Taguig Marlins (3-11) record but still have four games left in their schedule.
The Patriots, on the other hand, are way behind their rivals in the northern side with a 2-7 card and will need a miracle to salvage a spot in the next round.
Gametime is at 3 p.m.
But focus will be on the LBC Batangas-Negros duel at 5:30 p.m., a game between two leading teams in their respective groups.
