True North layout completed soon

True North Golf Club in Clark Economic Zone is reaching the final construction stages of its first 18 holes and golf clubhouse facilities. The front nine will open for initial play for members by the end of September, while the construction of the back nine will be completed before the end of the year.

To set up the operations, True North Golf Club has appointed the services of Asian PGA Services from Hong Kong, a company specializing in the development and management of golf clubs. Some of the involvements of the group are the Old Course Hotel and Golf Club at St. Andrews in Scotland, the Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club in Hong Kong, and the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai. True North Golf Club may soon be the venue of major Asian PGA golf championship tournaments.

True North Golf Course was designed under the IMG banner by Nick Faldo and Nancy Lopez. The golf course will now be maintained by Golforce, Inc. which has the reputation as the best golf course maintenance company in the Philippines. Golforce is now working on the golf courses of Wack Wack Golf Club and seven other top golf clubs in the country.

W.V. Coscolluela Architects completed the designs for the golf clubhouse. The clubhouse has a great vantage point offering a commanding view of the golf course below, the Clark Field panorama, and Mt. Arayat beyond. It is due to be completed for the operation of the first eighteen holes.
