Milo to pick official cheer for SEAG bets
August 22, 2001 | 12:00am
Milo is launching the MILO Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Cheers Campaign, an activity in which students in 1,000 schools all over the country will select an official cheer in support of the Philippine team.
The cheer campaign, intended to provide moral support for the athletes, will be conducted by MILO with the Philippine Olympic Committee. During the campaign, dubbed "Sugod Pinoy! Give Your Team A Cheer," MILO Energy Teams will visit public and private schools nationwide to conduct a cheer selection activity.
The MILO Energy Teams will visit schools in Metro Manila, Davao, Cebu, Bacolod, Lipa, Naga, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Baguio and Cagayan de Oro in August. The selection of the best cheer will be based on votes cast by the students. On the day of the activity, MILO will show an audiovisual presentation on the vote procedure.
Students will be presented with a pre-recorded interpretation of the cheers performed by the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad.
