Letran tries to ride the momentum of its thrilling victory over Perpetual Help last week when it collides with second-running Mapua today in the 77th NCAA mens basketball tournament at the Rizal Coliseum.
After losing three games in a row, the Knights bounced back in style when it held off the Altas, a team bannered by the dynamic duo of Gilbert Malabanan and Chester Tolomia, 71-70, last Monday. Letran and Perpetual now sport identical 4-4 records.
Ronjay Enrile, last years juniors MVP, sank two charities in the final four seconds to seal that victory for Letran, which is once again expected to undergo some rough sailing against Mapua.
