SUBIC  Carlos Anton, Enzo Pastor and Alex Padua dominated their respective categories as expected to keep their frontrunning positions after eight rounds in the Shell Helix Philippine Junior Touring Car Championships at the Subic Raceway recently.
Anton, one of the mainstays of Pasay-based MP Turbo Racing Team, steered his green and white Hyundai Elantra to back-to-back victories in the seventh and eighth rounds of this 12-part series organized by the Batangas Racing Circuit Association (BRCA) in cooperation with Shell Helix.
The twin victories on a wet Sunday afternoon enabled the Baguio-bred Anton to widen his lead in the overall standings against erstwhile frontrunner Carlo Pastor of Team TEC.
