The Freezer Makers and the Paintmasters have identical 7-3 (win-loss) slates with the former coming off an 87-73 rout of Giv Beauty Soap Tuesday, hoping to sustain their form in their bid to get the big edge heading into the semis stage next week.
But Welcoat is out to repeat its 75-66 win over Ana Freezers with their 5:30 p.m. encounter a preview of their semis showdown.
Shark clinched the first semis slot with the league-best 9-2 mark and will face the No. 4 squad, still being disputed by Giv Beauty Soap, Phamaquick and Hapee.
"We are definitely inspired by our huge win over Giv. We hope to sustain that against Welcoat," said Ana team owner Rudy Mendoza. Joey Villar
