Gultiano, representing the town of General Mariano Alvarez (GMA), defeated James Galides of Tagaytay in the race-to-seven rack championship round with a convincing 7-3 victory.
"I’m really focused to win the title, and I’m happy I did. I give credit to him for giving a good fight," said Gultiano.
Gultiano took home the top purse of P15,000 cash prize and a brand new Minnesota cue stick. Movie actress Lani Mercado and Leonardo "Dodong" Andam presented to him the championship trophy.
Galides pocketed P10,000 cash prize and a trophy.
Action superstar and Cavite Gov. Bong Revilla and SMB Bravo Rhum’s Lito Geronimo and Tristan Monasterio graced the tournament, which was organized by board member Strike Revilla and the "Strike" Billiard Association in Cavite.
Other winners in the tournament, sponsored by Minnesota cue stick and La Tondeña Inc., were Vicente Cayanan of Dasmariñas, third place (P4,000 cash prize and a trophy) and Raymond Borja of Rosario, fourth place (P3,000 cash prize).
