Montecillo rules Prospeed drag race

The Prospeed Quarter Mile 2000 Championship Drag Racing Series recently concluded at the Manila Harbour Centre. Dondi Montecillo led the professional (F.I.A.) class. Other winners include Adelbert Ayroso, Michael dela Cruz, John Dionisio, Boboy Rabe, Toby Sta. Cruz, Rhamier Chavez, Dustin Yu, Dexter Laxamana, Mark Chan, Jeffrey Cristobal, and Jay Cortez.

The event was organized by Prospeed with Butch Inducil, president; Arnold Cortez, race director; Nestor Santiaguel, deputy race director; and Rey Academia, operations head. It was sponsored by Shell Velocity, Shell Helix, Nodalos Headers, Citylite 88.3, Magic 89.9, 99.5 RT, and K lite 109.5.
