Litang, Cuarto rule Milo junior tennis

San Beda netters Rollyto Litang and Christian Cuarto scored contrasting victories over separate rivals to rule their respective divisions at the close of the 2000 Milo Junior Tennis Cup and Regional Workshop at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
Litang, a sophomore computer science student who hails from Davao, edged Letrans Chiemel Mantua, 7-6 (8-6), 7-5, to win the 21-under bracket, while the high schooler Cuarto routed Gino Bautista of Ateneo, 6-1, 6-1, to pocket the boys 16-under class crown.
Litang and Cuarto, both resident players of the Greenview Executive Village Tennis Club in Fairview, shared the limelight with Gerard Bergavera of NOTA in Bacolod, Kyle Dandan of La Consolacion-Paranaque, Oswaldo Dumoran of Cebu, Bien Zoleta of Lucena, Edilyn Balanga of Dagupan and Katrina Pamintuan of Manila Southwoods.
Bergavera reigned supreme in the unisex 10-under division, Dandan in boys 12-under division, Dumoran in boys 14-under, Bien in girls 12-under and Balanga in girls 14-under.
