Aguilar leads NAMSSA Excellence Awards roll

Five-time Rider of the Year Glenn Aguilar leads the cast for the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA) Excellence Awards for the different motorcycle disciplines in the Philippines for the year 2000.
Aguilar earned the distinction for defending his crown for the fifth straight year in this years 2000 PLDT Motocross Super Series.
Veteran Jolet Jao took the honors for clinching Road Race Rider of the Year award while Kenneth San Andres was unanimously chosen as Young Rider of the Year.
A special award was given to Max Keinle, the NAMSSA-designated Philippine representative to the Paris-to-Dakkar Rally which he finished last year.
NAMSSA is the official Philippine representative to the world governing FIM (Federation International de Motocyclisme) for the different motorcycle disciplines in the Philippines and is duly recognized by the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Sports Commission.
NAMSSA is also duly appointed by the Union Asia de Motorcyclisme (UAM) to the Executive Commission for Motocross discipline in Asia which oversee as jury members of the five Asian Motocross Series undertaken in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, India and China.
