CoL cagebelles keep streak

Community of Learners won twice last weekend to post a frontrunning 4-0 record in the elementary division of the Milo BEST Center Women’s Basketball League at the Ateneo courts.

The CoL girls blasted UP Integrated School, 75-14, Saturday and then spilled Assumption College, 44-28, the next day to open up a two-game edge over St. Scholastica’s College which also triumphed twice – 57-39 over De La Salle Zobel and 71-23 over Dominican College.

In other elementary contests, Assumption College downed Poveda Learning Center, 41-36; Poveda tripped PWU-JASMS, 15-9; and Holy Spirit trimmed Colegio de Sta. Rosa, 30-25.

High school developmental – Makati High d. St. James, 50-14; New Era University d. UST, 50-25; Flos Carmeli Institution d. UPIS, 31-26; Jubilee Christian Academy d. UST, 29-26; and St. Theresa’s College d. St. Benedict, 56-23.

College – St. Scholastica’s d. Assumption, 42-34; Miriam College d. UST, 46-34; and UA&P d. Adamson, 28-22.
