Tot clouters compete in Singapore tourney

The Philippines will be fielding two teams in the first ever Pony Baseball SEA tournament in Singapore this weekend, this was announced yesterday by Boy Tingzon, president of Philippine Tot Baseball Foundation and Pony SEA regional director.

The two teams, which will leave today, will compete in the Single A and Double A divisions. They are sponsored by LRP Foundation, Metro Pacific, Luz and Arturo Aguinaldo, Fernando and Farah Imperial, VAR Business Center, Samara Realty, CMC Di Ravenna Italia, Teresa Orosa, Cora Guidote, Mayor Nene Aguilar, Pioneer Insurance Corp., CCC Insurance, Mercantile Insurance, Coco Life, Marist School, De La Salle Zobel and parents and other tot baseball supporters.

Members of the Single A team, coached by Isaac Bacarrisas, Jeffrey Santiago, and Ariel Galvez are RR Concepcion, Ryan Macapinlac, Tep Sampedro, Nico Uichico, Allan Dimal , Arron Greenfield, Michael De Rossi, Ryan Rebosa, Chris Imperial, Andrew Arellano, Lauro Orosa, Cloyd Sanchez and Rowell Bacay.

The Double A squad, handled by Chito Warque and Eric Gesmundo, are Jason Orobia, Alvin Santos, Maynard Ocampo, Lawrence Virina, Apollo Torregoza, John Santamaria, Jordy Navarra, Joseph Hocson, Eugene Manalang, Jed Reyes-Cuerva and Abraham Tabada.
