'F1' Golf Classic Under Way At WW

The F1 (Fairways-One) Golf Classic, a golf tournament open to players who have participated in motorsports events, tees off today at the Wack Wack's West Course.

Flagship Projects Secretary Robert Aventajado will hit the ceremonial ball at 7 a.m. Among the notable participants are Mayor Peng Oreta, DBP chairman Mon Abad, Tony Mapa, the Manila-to-Davao Gedol international rally champion, banker Mandy Eduque, test driver Masa Nagayama of Yokohama and sportsman Dante Silverio.

Raffle prizes, consisting of Callaway GBB Driver, TV set, golf set, golf accessories, will be given away by sponsors Tailored made, Pyramid Construction, Eruo-Asia and Golf Plus. Tournament director is Ike Borja with Jeanette Vista at tel. no. 723-8556, handling the secretariat.
