Pauleen, nagpasalamat sa unang panalo ni Vic

Nagpasalamat si Pauleen Luna sa kanyang post matapos nang maglabas ng order ang Muntinlupa City Court na humawak sa petisyon ng writ of habeas na inihain ng host ng Eat Bulaga na si Vic Sotto laban kay Direk Darryl Yap na nag-utos na tanggalin ang teaser para sa kontrobersyal na pelikulang, The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma.

“We give thanks to the Lord for this court decision,” umpisa ng misis ni Bossing Vic.

“The results are in and the outcome is in our favor, confirming that the material released was malicious in nature. We won this case! ” dagdag niya.

Para raw sa mga anak nila ang nasabing panalo. “This victory is for our children and family, and we humbly lift our gratitude to Almighty God.”

May dalawang anak sina Vic at Pauleen, sina Tali and Mochi.

Nauna nang sinabi ni Atty. Buko dela Cruz na nakararanas ng bullying si Tali dahil sa nasabing pagsasangkot ng pangalan ng kanyang daddy sa kontrobersya ng dating sexy star na si Pepsi Paloma. “Let this be a reminder that our words and actions have great power, and that kindness and integrity should always guide us,” sabi pa ni Pauleen.

Paalala rin niya na : “Please, let us all be mindful and responsible about posting/sharing malicious content about people.

“We urge everyone to act with kindness, integrity, and respect, striving to uplift one another instead of causing harm,” ang buong caption niya kalakip ang family photo nila.

Nakasaad nga sa desisyon ng Muntinlupa City court na “Respondent DARRYL RAY SPYKE B. YAP and any person or entity acting on his behalf, including the production team of Vin Centiments, are ORDERED to delete, take down and remove the 26-second teaser video from online platforms, social media, or any other medium for having misused the collected data/information by presenting a conversation between two deceased individuals, which cannot be verified as having actually occurred,” na may petsang January 24, pero naisapubliko lang kahapon.

Pero pinayagan naman ni Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court Branch 205 Presiding Judge Liezel Aquiatan ang pagpapatuloy ng paggawa ng pelikula at ang pagpapalabas nito. “The respondent, however, is ALLOWED to proceed with the production and eventual release of the film ‘The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma’,” sabi pa sa nasabing desisyon ng korte.

Kaya hati ang opinyon. Mas nagsasabing nagtagumpay si Vic sa writ of habeas, pero winner din daw si Direk Darryl dahil may posibilidad na ipalabas ang nasabing pelikula. ‘Yan ay kung  aaprubahan ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Baord (MTRCB) headed by Chair Lala Sotto ang pelikulang may kaso sa kasalukuyan.

Inihain ni Vic ang petition sa writ pagkaraan na kumalat ang trailer ng pelikulang naglalarawan sa buhay ni Pepsi Paloma, isang aktres noong 1980s.

Bukod sa protective writ, maaalalang nagsampa rin si Bossing Vic ng 19 counts ng cyber libel, na may kalakip na P35 million moral at exemplary damages.
