Pangunahing karakter sina Molly at Macky na ginagampanan ng Star Magic artists na sina Kira Balinger at LA Santos (a.k.a. KirLA).

“I would say it is a wide release in Canada because the chosen locations are typically targeted to play Filipino films,” said Roselle T. Lorenzo of Robe Entertainment.

Filming in Canada for several weeks opened the eyes and hearts of Kira and LA to the beauty of the Great White North, and the real situation of Canada-based Pinoys.

Anong naramdaman mo nung first kiss ninyo?

“Kaba syempre, my ghad! Kagaya ng sinabi ko kanina, I was not prepared for that. Pero it was part of the script, so ayun nga ulit, I’m happy that LA was my partner. I trust him, and we took it like a jam, so he did not take advantage of any of those scenes, so ayun,” banggit ni Kira.

Never ako nag-judge sa tao kaya I did my best to make Kira comfortable po.

“Marami po silang sinasabi so it’s up to you guys,” mabilis na sagot ni Kira.

“Yeah, saka kami naman ni Kira what you see is what you get talaga kami. Gusto ko rin talaga si Kira mag-grow pa as an artist, as herself.

Anyway, the film has created anticipation among Fil-Canadian communities. “They are very excited to watch because this is their story,” dagdag ni Ms. Roselle. “A lot of Filipinos still miss home and watching a Filipino film is their way of connecting to the Philippines,” Roselle underscored.

Thumbs up!

“Na-tackle ang different aspects like family, love, relationships and OFW issues. It gives so much insight,” sabi naman ni Andy Krishane Garcia, Andrea Christina Book, Samantha Mayor, Lorenzo Pardiñas, Kyle Binasa of the Ateneo Film Organization.

The movie gives us a lot of hope para sa atin. Laban lang! Bangon lang!”

Dumalo naman sa celebrity red carpet premiere at Gateway Cinema 12 last Sept. 20 and family and friends of the cast and production tulad nina Janella Salvador, Jameson Blake, Gillian Vicencio, Ogie Diaz, Mama Loi, and many more.

Ito ay produced ng 7K Entertainment, Lonewolf Films and ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, and distributed by Quantum Films in the Philippines and Robe Entertainment in Canada.
