Ian, galit para sa anak na miyembro ng LGBTQ
“Who she loves is her business,” sabi ni Ian Veneracion sa caption para sa anak na si Deirdre or “Dids” na miyembro ng LGBTQ community bilang isang proud daddy.
Ang buong caption ni Ian: “Seriously, let’s all just cut the bullshit. People should be honored and respected for their compassion, courage, and integrity—not for the choices they make in the privacy of their bedrooms. Proud of my daughter for embodying these values. Who she loves is her business.-Proud Daddy.”
Pinagdiriwang ang buwan ng June bilang Pride Month na nagpapahalaga sa Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ).
Noon pa very vocal ang actor na suportado niya ang anak na isang lesbian.
Nang tanungin siya kung okay lang na magustuhan niya ang mga babae, sinabi ni Ian na, “Yes. Don’t ever be apologetic about it, not even to me. You can be whoever you want to be and (you have my) full support,” aniya sa isang interview.
