Derek at Ellen, gagawa ng ice baby sa Antarctica

Mahigit dalawang taon na ang nakalilipas nang magpakasal sina Ellen Adarna at Derek Ramsay. May kanya-kanyang anak na ang mag-asawa sa mga dating nakarelasyon. Kamakailan ay napabalitang nakunan si Ellen habang nagbabakasyon sa Spain. “It was only for a few weeks but it was nothing that’s like hit me before. I’ve gone through so many things. I don’t know how to describe it. I was lost. The good news is hindi kami baog. At least we know we can have a baby. So right now, hindi na ako picky, boy or girl, as long as healthy. She wants a girl. The entire country wants a girl. I’m okay with having a girl now. But I told Ellen, she’s going to be super sheltered. She’s going to be super protected,” natatawang pahayag ni Derek.

Umaasa ang aktor na papalarin na silang magkaroon ng sariling pamilya ni Ellen sa susunod na taon. “If I’m blessed with another child with Ellen, I don’t want want to say this but my life would be perfect. She was pregnant in Spain and it took a while for me to absorb it. I’ve been really lutang. Imagine we’re in Spain for my mom’s birthday. We’re celebrating. We find out, we’re on a high. Then on the the following day, she starts spotting. We talked to doctors left and right. All of them say, ‘We can’t say what’s going on.’ Even when we did the ultrasound, the doctors still couldn’t say that she’s not pregnant. But 99% siguro hindi na matutuloy. I was lost,” pagdedetalye niya.

Sa Norway nakatakdang magdiwang ng Bagong Taon nina Derek at Ellen. Nagpaplano ring magdiwang ng kanilang ikalawang anibersaryo ang mag-asawa sa Antarctica sa Pebrero. “Why Antarctica? Kasi it’s on the bucket list. Our Anniversary was in November and I was like, ‘What do I give this girl? Do I really want to go to Antarctica?’ Because last year we spent it in the North Pole. So, this year sa South Pole. I decided to kill two birds with one stone. She loves Antarctica and she loves Patagonia. So, we’re going to both. Maybe we’ll create an ice baby in Antarctica. Maybe we’ll produce an ice, ice baby,” nakangiting pahayag ng aktor.

Regine, ‘di malikot sa stage

Pinaghahandaan na ngayon ni Regine Velasquez ang bagong Regine Rocks concert na gaganapin sa Abril.

Matatandaang naging matagumpay ang naunang concert ng Asia’s Songbird sa MOA Arena noong isang buwan. “Whenever we do a repeat, we will have to change 50% of the repertoire. Basically, ganoon pa rin but you will hear different songs this time also. At least 50% will be changed,” pagbabahagi ni Regine.

Hindi raw inasahan ng singer na makagagawa siya ng rock concert sa loob ng halos apat na dekeda niyang aktibo sa industriya. Kailangang pakaabangan ng mga tagahanga ang bagong concert dahil posibleng maging birthday concert na rin ito ni Regine. “It was received well. It was talked about. We didn’t think ganoon magiging reception so we decided to have a repeat. It is also my birthday month. It still exciting ‘coz it is really different from what I do. I also don’t perform nang malikot because I am a balladeer. Hindi ako malikot sa stage. But since it’s a rock concert, the energy and the music, it followed,” paglalahad ng Asia’s Songbird.
