Sam, kinontra si Anne!

Natawa kami sa comment ng isang fan na siguro raw may tampo pa rin si Sam Concepcion kay Anne Curtis dahil hindi pabor noon si Anne sa relasyon nina Sam at sister ni Anne na si Jasmine Curtis Smith.

Ang tampo raw ni Sam kay Anne ang nakita niyang rason sa tweet ni Sam na “Pay artists their royalties.” Ito ay pagkatapos mag-trending ang #RespectLocalArtists na resulta naman nang napanood sa It’s Showtime na nabanggit ng mga host na hindi nila puwedeng patugtugin ang song ng SB19 na Gento  dahil naniningil daw ng royalty ang SB19 kapag ginagamit sa mga show ang songs nila.

Actually, wala namang sinabing masama si Anne, nanghinayang lang na hindi nila puwedeng gamitin ang song na ‘yun ng SB19 dahil promo rin ‘yun. Pero, si Anne ang napagtripan ng fan at binalikan ang isyung matagal na.

Sabi ng netizens, tama si Sam at hindi lang ang SB19 ang dapat bayaran ng royalty kapag pinatugtog o ginamit ang songs nila sa mga TV show, dapat lahat ng local artists at karapatan nila ito.

Hindi pa tapos ang isyung ito at may mga pangalan ng artist kaming nababasa na sumasali sa diskusyon sa social media tungkol dito.

Naglabas ng statement ang kampo ni Councilor Leren Mae Bautista para itanggi at linawin ang isyu sa konsehala at kay Ricci Rivero.

“The recent outreach activity in which Councilor Leren participated with Ricci Rivero is not an indication of  a romantic relationship between them. The event was organized as part of Councilor Leren’s ongoing efforts to serve the people and contribute to the welfare of her community.

“The video that went viral, depicting Ricci’s belated celebration with his friends, whom numerous other invited individuals joined, was taken down due to concerns about potential misinterpretation by viewers.

“We encourage everyone to refrain from creating malicious and insinuating comments on social media. Likewise, we call everyone to understand the importance of fact-checking information shared across various internet platforms.”
