Eat Bulaga, inalok sa Net 25?!

Hindi man diretsahang inamin ng taga-Net 25, pero parang oo na rin ang sagot sa tanong namin kung isa ba sila sa nag-alok kina Tito, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon na ilipat ang Eat Bulaga sa kanilang istasyon.

Nabanggit ng dating Sen. Tito Sotto na may dalawang network ang nag-alok sa kanila na lumipat, at isa sa pinagdudahan namin ang Net 25.

Ang sabi lang ng Presidente ng Net 25 na si Ka Caesar Vallejos, “Since TVJ is on Net 25 already, we are open to that. Sino po ba ang tatanggi sa pagkakaroon ng ganyang programa.

“We are open to that, and we are thankful also if that happens.”

Pero hindi sila natutuwa sa nangyayari na nagkakaroon ng ganung problema ang longest-running noontime show.

Hangad pa rin nilang magkaayos ang lahat. “Net 25 always supports harmony, unity in any field. That includes industry associations.

“We are not happy with many issues that surrounds... not only what happened to them but in any issues that concerns celebrities, because we are family-friendly, wholesome channel. And as much as possible we promote values that promote harmony and unity.

“But with what’s happening to other programs, of course we feel bad about that. But, we are contented that TVJ is on Net 25.”

Masaya na raw sila na kanya-kanyang programa sa kanilang istasyon ang TVJ.

“Tito Sotto has Reality Check where he discusses current affairs and a lot of issues.

“Joey de Leon as Oh No It’s B.O. or Oh No, It’s Biro Only. It’s a prank show, and it’s very practical and it’s something that we are very proud of because it generates ratings for the network.

“And we also have Vic Sotto. Hindi lang si Vic Sotto. Nandiyan ‘yung asawa niya si Ms. Pauleen and Tali. So, it’s three in one, and they discuss a lot of day to day issues that affect the regular issues and affect the regular Filipinos and the regular Filipino family. And they promote and give advice to a lot of topics that promote values.

“Imagine, to have these icons… to have these legends… considered as legends in the TV industry altogether in the network. It’s something that we are very proud of,” dagdag na pahayag ni Ka Caesar Vallejos.

Ken at Sue, may gagawin

As expected, hindi pa rin maganda ang box-office results ng local films nating nagbukas sa mga sinehan. Pero tuloy pa rin sa pagpu-produce.

Nag-showing ang pelikulang Papa Mascot ni Ken Chan nung nakaraang Miyerkules, at mabuti na lang suportado ito ng mga kaibigan nila kaya nagkakaroon sila ng ilang block screenings.

First venture ito ni Ken bilang producer, at hindi maiwasang kabahan nung first day of showing.

Pero ang sabi ng Kapuso actor, tuloy pa rin daw sila sa pagpu-produce ng pelikula kasama ang partner niyang Wide International Films na pag-aari ng mga kaibigan niyang sina Ms. April Martin at Ms. Pauline Publico.

 “After this… on July, pupunta po kami ng Taiwan to shoot a movie. Makakasama ko naman po dito ang isa sa magagaling na aktres sa kabilang istasyon po, sa ABS-CBN.

“After po ng Taiwan, lilipad naman po kami ng Thailand. Magkakaroon po tayo ng pelikula dun with an actor… a Thai actor.

“Inaayos pa po namin ‘yung material. Surprise po kung ano po ‘yung maging takbo. Kahit po ako medyo hindi ko pa po alam kung ano po ‘yung maging takbo, hindi ko pa po alam kung ano po ‘yung concept ng pelikula namin sa Thailand,” banggit ni Ken.

Hindi pa naman na-finalize, pero ang dinig naming makakasama ni Ken sa gagawing pelikula sa Taiwan ay si Sue Ramirez.

Nakipag-meeting din sila sa bilyonaryang Thai producer na si Anne Jakrajutatip para sa iba pang projects na pinaplano ng kanilang film production.
