Joseph, pinaghandaan ang Kunwari

Napapanood na sa mga sinehan ngayon ang Kunwari Mahal Kita na pinagbibidahan nina Joseph Marco, Ryza Cenon, at Nathalie Hart.

Ayon sa aktor ay kailangang mapanood ng mga tagahanga ang naturang pelikula dahil talagang pinaghandaan niya ito. “We had so much fun shooting this film. Sobrang gaang katrabaho ng co-stars ko, from director and staff. I read the script over and over again like two, three months. I did a little of cooking training and some painting,” kwento ni Joseph.

Para sa aktor ay maaaring maka-relate sa bawat karakter at istorya ng kanilang pelikula ang sino mang manonood nito. “Very relatable ‘yung tatlong character from the role of Greg, Hydes and the role of Nathalie Hart. Very relatable ‘yung tatlo. So dapat nilang panoorin,” dagdag pa ng binata.

Romnick, maraming beses muntik layasan ang showbiz

Mahigit apat na dekada nang aktibo sa show business si Romnick Sarmenta.

Matatandaang nagsimula bilang child star ang aktor noong 1977 sa Gulong ng Palad.

Mula pagkabata ay wala naman daw pinagsisisihan si Romnick sa kanyang mga nagawa bilang isang artista. “There can be some things that I can be sure about with this business. Pero when I look at it from a different perspective, I just have to find the reason to be grateful whatever it is. So I am grateful for everything that I have gone through. Some of them may not have been nice. Or some of them may have been painful but I’m grateful about the lesson afterwards and what I learned because of that,” makahulugang pahayag ni Romnick.

Aminado ang aktor na dumarating din ang mga pagkakataong gusto na niyang talikuran ang show business. “Marami, the first I think was when I was a teenager. There was a bad write-up about my mom and it was very personal and it wasn’t true ang affected me. And then siguro mga mid-20’s, at one point, I wanted to stop. And then no’ng nagpamilya na ako, I stopped actually for several years. I would accept guesting every now and then but I was more interested in taking care of my children. Then the latter part of 2020 gusto kong mag-focus sa business. But I have friends who called up and said, ‘Gawin natin ‘to together.’ And I couldn’t say no to someone that’s why I keep coming back,” pagbabahagi ng dating child actor.

Sa susunod na buwan ay maglilimampu’t isang taong gulang na si Romnick. Masayang-masaya si Romnick dahil sa kanyang edad ay nakapagbibida pa sa mga proyekto. Mapapanood ang About Us But Not About Us simula April 8 hanggang 18. Isa ito sa mga pelikulang kalahok sa kauna-unahang Metro Manila Summer Film Festival. “Number 1 mabait ang Diyos, sobra. Number two, I’ve been blessed enough to be able to work with people and hopefully was able to connect in such a way that we actually have a friendship or relationship. I don’t get picked out because I have a PR team or whatever. I feel I get picked out kasi we’ve had a good relationship during previous work that they remember na, ‘Uy! Madaling katrabaho si Romnick.’ I’m grateful for that more than anything,” pagtatapos ng aktor. — JCC
