Vhong Navarro sumuko sa NBI sa paglabas ng 'warrant of arrest' ng korte
MANILA, Philippines — Boluntaryong sumuko sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang aktor at TV host na si Vhong Navarro matapos maglabas ng arrest warrant ang Taguig Metropolitan Court, Lunes, kaugnay ng kasong "acts of lasciviousness" na inihain ng modelong si Deniece Cornejo.
Inirekomenda ng korte ang piyansa sa halagang P36,000, ayon sa determination of probable cause na pinirmahan ni presiding judge Angela Francesca Din ng Taguig Metropolitan Court Branch 116.
"After personally evaluating and taking into consideration the information filed in the above-entitled case, as well as the allegations in the complaint-affidavit executed by the offended party, which are all under oath, together with the supporting documents attached thereon, the Court finds that there is probable cause to hold the accused for trial," nakasaad sa pahinang nilagdaan ni presiding judge Din.
"As probable cause exists to hold the accused for trial, let a Warrant of Arrest be issued against accused Ferdinand 'Vhong' H. Navarro."
Agosto lang nang ibalitang inutusan ng Court of Appeals ang Office of the City Prosecutor sa Taguig na pakakasuhan na ng rape at acts of lasciviousness ang aktor matapos niya diumano abushin si Deniece noong 2014.
Pinasinungalingan ni Alma Mallonga, abogado ni Navarro, sa panayam ng DZBB ang mga nangyari noong ika-22 ng Enero 2014, kung kailan diumano nangyari ang krimen.
Pero noong araw daw na 'yon binugbog at sinubukang kikilan ng grupo nina Cedric Lee si Navarro. Nasa NBI na rin daw ngayon ang aktor at hihiling ng reconsideration.

"Mr. Navarro reiterates that he is the victim of the crimes of Serious Illegal Detention and Grave Coercion," ani Mallonga.
Ika-28 ng Enero 2014 nang maghain ng reklamo si Navarro laban kina Cornejo, Lee at iba pa para sa serious illegal detention at grave coercion kaugnay ng nangyari.
"Ms. Cornejo filed a complaint for rape a day after in which she claimed under oath that she saw Mr. Navarro on January 17, 2014. He did not rape her on that day, but continued to text with him until January 22, 2014 when he allegedly raped her when he visited her at her condo," dagdag pa ng abogado.
"[We have a CCTV footage taken on January 22, 2014]... just a minute after accused Navarro went out of the elevator to go to Ms. Cornejo’s condominium unit.
"Ms. Cornejo claims she was attacked and a rape/attempt to rape her was made. After she enters the elevator, she is smiling, even apparently suppressing giggles, as she looks at her reflection, making it clear she was not a victim of rape, attempted rape, or acts of lasciviousness."
Kamakailan lang nang sabihin ng aktor na naalarma siya na lumutang pa uli ang kaso.
Ayon sa aktor, nagsasabi talaga siya ng katotohanan at hindi nagsisinungaling. Consistent pa nga raw siya sa mga affidavit.
"'Yun nga ang nakakalungkot. Kasi for how many years, akala namin nina attorney tapos na. Patapos na. Kaya nagulat kami after ilang years, parang, ito uli. Nabuhay," wika ni Vhong sa panayam ng media.
"At parang ako pa 'yung nababaliktad... ako 'yung biktima. So parang ang hirap paniwalaan. So ako, mula noong 2014, inilahad ko 'yung lahat ng nangyari. Wala akong binago. Sinabi ko lahat. Alam ng Panginoon 'yon na nagsasabi ako ng totoo."
Dahil daw dito, mabigat ang loob ng aktor sa lahat ng nangyayari dahil sa "pagbabaliktad" sa kanila.
