Ruffa at Yilmaz, three years ang proseso sa reunion ng mga anak
Noong isang buwan ay bumisita ang mga anak ni Ruffa Gutierrez na sina Lorin at Venice sa dating asawa ng aktres na si Yilmaz Bektas.
Sa Istanbul, Turkey nakabase ang ama ng mga dalagita kaya ilang linggong namalagi roon. “They haven’t seen their dad since we left Istanbul. This was way back in 2007. He came to visit one time but since then, the kids never saw him. Hindi naman sa binawalan pero I just told Yilmaz that, ‘If you want to see your kids, come and visit them in the Philippines. Or we’ll meet in a neutral country like the United States, Europe, anywhere pero huwag muna sa Turkey,” kwento ni Ruffa.
Matatandaang mainit na pinag-usapan noong 2007 ang kontrobersyal na hiwalayan ng aktres at ng businessman. Para kay Ruffa ay hindi rin naging madali sa dalawang anak na hindi nakasama ang kanilang ama sa paglaki. “At that point in my life, I was very afraid. I was scared because of what happened sa paghihiwalay namin. I didn’t realize that it’s been 15 years. Feeling ko ‘yung mga bata, dala-dala nila ‘yung pain na ‘yon, not being able to see their dad. They grew up without a dad. Even if my dad is there, it’s really different. They feel like they’ve been abandoned,” paliwanag niya.
Tatlong taon na ang nakalilipas nang unang planuhin nina Ruffa, Lorin at Venice ang pagpunta ng magkapatid sa Turkey.
Kahit matagal nang magkahiwalay ay madalas pa ring nagkakausap sina Ruffa at Yilmaz pero nagkakainitan lamang ang dalawa. “This reunion is three years in the making. Every time we would try set something up, we would end up fighting over the phone. He was supposed to come to the Philippines. Kung anu-ano lang, nagkakainitan kami. We didn’t talk for over a year and then this Holy Week, Yilmaz had a dream about Venice and he said, ‘Is Venice okay?’ I feel like she’s going through a lot and I don’t understand why I had a dream about her.’ So nag-usap sila. This was in April for Holy Week and we were in Boracay. So I was there when they initially had a conversation. It was on speaker phone. Lahat ng hinanakit ni Venice nilabas niya talaga and she cried. She felt very angry and once her bubba (Yilmaz) said hello, she just started crying and I know this is very personal for Venice. It’s very private. Pinagsabihan na ako ng mga bata na, ‘Mom, we want to vlog about it. We want to be able to talk about it kasi we’re of age na.’ Tama nga naman because Lorin is 18 and Venice is 17. So they’ll also vlog about it,” pagdedetalye ng aktres.
Janine, pangarap lang noong mag-concert sa abroad
Ngayon pa lamang ay sobrang excited na ni Janine Berdin na makarating iba’t ibang lugar sa Amerika sa susunod na buwan. Makakasama ang singer sa Beyond the Stars: Star Magic US Tour na gaganapin sa New York sa Aug. 6, San Francisco sa Aug. 12 at Aug. 14 naman sa Los Angeles. “We’re all so excited. Tayong lahat we’ve been looking forward to tours for the past two years because we’ve been stuck in our houses. We’re very, very excited. Wala naman akong gustong puntahan talaga. Kasi I think lahat ng pupuntahan namin ‘yung pinapangarap ko. I’m so excited for the immersion. ‘Yon talaga ‘yung nilu-look forward ko na I get to experience that with my Star Magic fam,” paglalahad ni Janine.
Matagal na rin pinapangarap ng singer na makapagtanghal sa libu-libong mga tagahanga na nasa ibang bansa. “Pero heto na nga po, magse-share na tayo ng energies with our Kapamilyas sa US I think this is a step to introduce kung ano ‘yung maio-offer naming mga new generation artists sa ating international supporters and viewers. So we’re very, very excited kasi as a songwriter, I think lahat ng talents ng Star Magic pangarap namin na magkaroon ng breakthrough sa international scene sa industry natin.
