Kantang 11:59, pinakamalapit sa puso ni KZ

Excited si KZ Tandingan para sa kanyang bagong soul single na pinamagatang 11:59 hindi lamang dahil ito ang una niyang internationally released single kundi itinuturing din niya itong pinakamalapit sa kung sino siya bilang artist.

“Out of all the songs I’ve released in the past, this I think is the closest to who I really am. This is really what I wanna do with my music, the sound I want to release out there,” ayon kay KZ na tinaguriang Asia’s Soul Supreme.

Nagbahagi rin siya ng kwento tungkol sa bagong labas na 11:59 music video na base mismo sa mensahe ng kanta at nagpapakita ng konsepto ng oras sa isang tuluy-tuloy na shot. “I’m super proud of what we came up with. We did six layouts in one take,” ani KZ.

Ikinuwento naman ni Dominic Bekaert ng Zoopraxi Studio na siyang bumuo ng konsepto at nagdirek ng music video ang inspirasyon tungkol sa visual masterpiece.

“Listening to the song what we found beautiful in ’11:59’ is she gives her boyfriend a minute to come forward with the truth and explain what he has done, what he is hiding,” sabi ni Dominic.

Ang Grammy-nominated producer na si Luigie “Lugo” Gonzales kasama sina Paulino Lorenzo at Idrise Ward-El ang nagprodyus ng pinaka-latest project ni KZ. Inilunsad naman ito sa ilalim ng Tarsier Records.

Nabibilang ang kanta sa New Music Friday playlist ng Spotify sa 10 territories, kasama ang Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Gulf, Korea, at Pilipinas pagkatapos itong ilunsad noong Biyernes (Oct. 22).
