Belle: ‘I want to be authentic!’

Malapit nang ilunsad ang debut album ni Belle Mariano. Ayon sa aktres ay kailangang pakaabangan ng kanyang mga tagahanga ang lahat ng kanta para sa kauna-unahang album. “It’s going to be light and I feel that a lot from my generation can relate to this, especially the lyrics. Once marinig n’yo siya talagang makaka-relate kayo. Good vibes lang ‘yung album. Hindi ko siya kakantahin kung hindi siya maganda. Ang ganda talaga ng songs, I swear. Sobrang galing ng composers,”
nakangiting pahayag ni Belle.

Sinisiguro ng dalaga na magsisilbing inspirasyon para sa karamihan ang mga kanta sa album. Napapanahon umano ito lalo pa’t nahaharap pa rin tayo sa kalungkutan na dulot ng pandemya. “Maraming makaka-relate and maraming mai-inspire sa songs. I want someone who gives color. I feel like now, during the pandemic, we need something light. We need something na hindi mabigat. I want to be authentic, too, and legitimate,” paglalahad ng aktres.

Marco, hindi nahirapang maghubad

Natupad na ang pangarap ni Marco Gallo na makapagbida sa isang pelikula. Limang taon na ang nakalilipas mula nang naging housemate ang aktor sa Pinoy Big Brother.

Mapapanood na sa Vivamax simula October 1 ang Ang Manananggal Na Nahahati Ang Puso na pinagbibidahan nina Marco at Aubrey Caraan. “I always dreamed to be part of very good content and creative movies because in the Philippine industry sometimes movies get repetitive. The fact that direk Darryl (Yap) is risking it all, not minding what other people think about his job. I love how different and modern it was. So when I knew about it, that he was giving us a chance for this, I got really happy because I already knew this was going to be different from anything that I’ve done before and it was going to be memorable. So it was very important moment for me,” pagbabahagi ni Marco.

Usap-usapan ngayon ang pagpapakita ng puwet ng binata sa naturang proyekto. May eksenang naliligo kaya talagang nagtrabaho nang hubo’t hubad si Marco para rito. “I think my genitals are pretty average naman. So it wasn’t really about my genes or the difference of my genes. It wasn’t really that, it was more of I didn’t want to cause any delay. I didn’t want to be any hassle for anyone on the set. So I did it because we were kind of rushing that day because of the sun and stuff. You know it’s a shower scene and I just had to take a shower. My role needed to take a shower. So that’s why when I was putting the soap in between my butt cheeks. Normally that’s what people do, di ba? You clean yourself deeply. So I just did it. I didn’t think it was a problem for me personally,” pagdedetalya ng binata.

Para kay Marco ay walang kahirap-hirap ang paghuhubad na kanyang ginawa sa pelikula. Mas mahirap umano ang isang eksenang nasa dagat sila ng katambal na kinunan pa sa Siquijor. “Tumatama sa rocks. I remember that time that we had to go down and she had to lay on me and there’s not really a place to lay down there. I was laying on my back and then lahat ng mga spikes ng rocks were on my back with her weight on me and we had to stay there for a couple of minutes. It was definitely worth the shot. I have to admit, that was pretty hard,” kwento ng aktor. (Reports from JCC)
