Michele Gumabao nasaksihan ang totoong nangyari sa Miss Universe Philippines

Isa pang issue kahapon ay ang mga sinabi ni Miss Universe Philippines second runner up Michele Gumabao.

Grabe pala ang pinagdaanan niya sa nasabing pageant ha.

Pero meron siyang ibang detalye na hindi niya sinabi sa isang vlog : “I heard things I never should have heard, witnessed things I never should have witnessed as a candidate.”

Nakaranas din daw siya ng an­xiety, pressure at exhaustion at nag-passed out siya at nagkaroon pa ng injury. “I cut my head, I sprained my knee, I broke my toe. It was all very challenging because as a beauty queen, you have to walk in high heels, you have to look your best, your face has to be presentable at all times.”

May statement din siyang : “I’ve been so used to empowering others and speaking up for others but at a time when I want to fight and speak up for myself I am not allowed. This is the first time in my life I feel so powerless. People have been asking me why I left, before leaving I expressed my feelings and told my reasons to the organization and they understood. I congratulated our winner and After that I thought I could go home to my family, have some time to rest and be by myself and everything would be okay, but then everyone online started making stories, thinking they know me, thinking they know what really happened. I am speaking up now and defending myself because I know no one will,” banggit pa ng nasabing  24-minute video.

Grabe rin daw ang iniyak niya sa naging karanasan niya sa pakiki­paglaban sa korona ng Miss Universe PH.

“I just want to say that as a queen, as a real queen, it’s not just crowns that we should be fixing. We should be fixing society, because we can. We should be fixing systems because we can, we should be fixing social issues because we can, we should be fixing the future because we can and that’s why we are here.”

Though maraming sumusuporta pero merong nagagalit din naman sa ginawa ni Michele dahil hindi lang naman daw siya ang napagod kundi lahat naman daw ng mga kandidata.

Si Miss Taguig Sandra Lemonon ang unang nagsalita na meron siyang pasasabugin pero ‘di nga natuloy.
