ASOP musicfest, eight years na!
MANILA, Philippines — Ngayong gabi na ang finals night ng A Song of Praise (ASOP) Music Festival na eight years na pala.
Yup, ang tagal na rin ng ASOP sa pagiging outlet and platform for aspiring and professional songwriters ng kanilang passion of praising God through music. Nagsisilbi rin itong vehicle para sa maraming praise music enthusiasts to honor the Almighty through their musical vernacular.
Nag-umpisa ang ASOP last 2011 and since then, mabilis na umakyat ang popularity nito at nakaka-adopt sa latest trend ang weekly songwriting contest of UNTV.
At pagkatapos ng 12 months of thorough competition, handa na ang lahat para sa finals ngayong gabi, 7 PM at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.
Twelve varieties of praise music ang maglalaban-laban sa “Song of the Year” award na ang mananalo ay tatanggap ng P800,000.00 (tax free) cash prize na nauna nang sinabi ng Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, Inc. (BMPI) President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kuya Daniel Razon in last year’s finals night na ang cash prizes will increase ng hundred thousand every year.
Cash prizes of P50,000.00 each naman are up for grab for 2 special awards, “Best Interpreter” and “People’s Choice” and P200,000 for “Bro. Eli Soriano’s (BES) Choice” award.
