“The areas we selected are those where there are no daycare facilities so that the people there won’t have to walk so far just to acquire basic education,” banggit niya na graduate ng kursong Entrepreneurship sa University of Asia and the Pacific.

“We all know that the future of our country is in the hands of the young, so we want to do our little bit to help contribute to their education,” pahayag ni STAR president Miguel Belmonte.

Dagdag naman ni Operation Damayan coordinator Emie Cruz added, “For the past 15 years, Operation Damayan has been prioritizing the education and literacy of young Filipinos by building classrooms in depressed and underserved areas, especially in the countryside. But this time around, we wanted to serve the depressed and underserved youth in urban areas, which is why we started building these Masaganang Bukas Learning Centers.”
