Luis naghakot sa Star Awards!
MANILA, Philippines - Pinarangalang Best TV Station sa ikawalong pagkakataon ang ABS-CBN sa 2016 PMPC Star Awards for TV.
Nanguna rin sa mga parangal ang Kapamilya Network sa pagkilala ng iba’t ibang programa at bituin sa kategorya ng TV at Music.
Nakamit ng FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ang Best Primetime Drama Series habang Best Drama Actor naman si Coco Martin. Itinanghal din ang child actors na sina McNeal Briguela at Simon Pineda, na gumaganap bilang Makmak at Onyok sa hit teleserye, bilang Best Child Performer at Best New Male TV Personality.
Ang teleserye naman na pinagbibidahan ni Julia Montes na Doble Kara ang Best Daytime Drama Series, habang sina Arjo Atayde at Aaron Villaflor ay kapwang kinilala bilang Best Drama Supporting Actor para sa natatanging pagganap nila sa FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano at All of Me.
Humakot naman ng award si Luis Manzano bilang Best Male TV Host, Best Game Show Host, at Best Talent Search Show Host. Kahati ni Luis sina Robi Domingo at Kim Chiu sa Best Talent Search Host award.
Ang iba pang Kapamilya big winners sa PMPC ay sina Kim Chiu at Xian Lim (German Moreno Power Tandem of the Year), Anne Curtis (Best Female TV Host), Boy Abunda (Best Celebrity Talk Show Host at Best Public Affairs Program Host), Ria Atayde (Best New Female TV Personality), ASAP (Best Musical Variety Show), Goin’ Bulilit (Best Gag Show), Tonight with Boy Abunda (Best Celebrity Talk Show), Ipaglaban Mo (Best Drama Anthology), at RX Plus (Best Lifestyle Show).
Umani rin ng parangal ang ABS-CBN news and current affairs ng parangal kabilang na ang Best News Program (TV Patrol), Best Documentary Special (Politika at Pamilya, Sila Noon, Sila Pa Rin Ngayon), Best Magazine Show (Rated K), Best Educational TV Program (Matanglawin), at Best Public Affairs Program (Bottomline).
Kinilala rin ang personalities ng news and current affairs tulad nina Korina Sanchez (Best Magazine Show Host), Julius Babao (Best Public Service Program Host), Kim Atienza (Best Educational Program Host), Anthony Taberna, Jorge Cariño, Atom Araullo, Amy Perez, Winnie Cordero, Ariel Ureta, at Gretchen Ho (Best Morning Show Hosts for Umagang Kay Ganda).

Samantala, kinilala rin sina Arjo at Ria Atayde bilang Male at Female Star of the Night for Music, habang sina Luis Manzano at Yassi Pressman ay itinanghal bilang Male and Female Star of the Night for TV.
