Together with 15 other candidates, we will make MPM fly. Ladies and Gentlemen, forever fab according to His will and design, I am My Pretty Mama 2014.”

Banat News Hugyaw (BNH): Nag-expect ba ka nga ikaw ang makadaug?

Cheloe: Yes, of course. We worked hard on it and of course, if you join a certain pageant you do all you can, you do all your best and you expect to get the most out of it. Aside from the crown, I’m also expecting to win in terms of experience, friendship, knowledge and all the contacts that I can get, so winning myself sort of a different perspective for me not just the crown.

BNH:  Nganong niapil ka sa My Pretty Mama?

Cheloe: I want to distress my very stressful life and work. Joining the pageant is fun for me.

BNH: Pila na kabuok imong anak?

Cheloe: Two, a boy and a baby girl. The boy is 5 years old and the girl is 3 years old.

BNH: Unsa ang imong most unforgettable experience sa pageant?

Cheloe: It’s the experience with The Freeman wherein all of us we’re like unmasked. It’s not just the beauty queen goods and glamour of the pageant but everyone took in, in terms of how motherhood and being a wife are difficult. They have different perspective and it opened my eyes. Womanhood is difficult because that’s what we’re created to be suitable helpers.

BNH: Unsa ang imong nakat-unan sa pag-apil sa My Pretty Mama?

Cheloe: That there is much to do. I would like to empower other women based on scripture and what we’re destined to do and that is to love, to nurture unconditionally and to be there to support our family.

BNH: Unsa nga strategy imong gihimo nga nakuha nimo ang attention sa mga judges?

Cheloe: I played up to my advantage which is my past experience and of course, I wanted to have fun so I just made the most out of it.

BNH: Unsaun nimo pag-describe ang imong kaugalingon as a mother?

Cheloe: Thankful and trusting. I’m thankful because we are children of God. We are guided whether you like it or not, we are in His hands, in His will and plans to prosper us. We just have to trust in Him.

BNH: Unsaun nimo pag manage imong kaugalingon karun as a mother, wife and as a beauty queen?

Cheloe: I have weekends and day-offs. And Redfly (pageant organizer) is very flexible with their time. In terms of the pageant, a lot of exposure not just now but with all other candidates so this is not the last of it. We want to expand more on the organization because we have a lot of plans to help out charitable works and we will use our strength as glam in terms of glamour and our contacts with the designers to earn more funds to help out and to make the most out of it.

BNH: Unsa ang imong ikasulti sa mga mama nga nangandoy nga mahimong beauty queen?

Cheloe: Be fabulous every day, your circumstance in life will be there no matter what you do there’ll always be tests and there’ll always be circumstances. You should suck it up and work on to be beautiful and to be fabulous. Everyday there’s no reason for you to look “losyang” because that is like an offering to the Lord God because if you look fabulous it’s like saying I know I can do it. God is with me I will look fabulous for Him no matter what’s the circumstance because the negative circumstance comes from the enemy so when you look fabulous and you look beautiful every day that is your offering to Him. So that’s my advocacy. I say that forever fabulous in the sense that you look beautiful not just probably in the sense of beautiful but you look fab for Him according to His will and grand design.
