SHOWBIZ DRIBBLE - Salve V. Asis - Pilipino Star Ngayon

Ang sabi ng abogado sa kanyang Facebook account: “NO DRUG CONVICTION - ONCE AGAIN: Nora Aunor was never convicted of a crime, let alone a crime involving drugs here in Los Angeles. I should know - I was the attorney who represented her. Two reporter friends have already pm’d me this issue - again today. Apparently there is misinformation over in the Philippines on this issue.
Now let me go back to the issue of the boy who was killed as a result of fraternity hazing...,” sabi ni Atty.

“I am most proud of the fact that under my watch, the credibility of GMA News became even stronger. Filipinos watch us because they know we can be trusted to deliver accurate, objective and balanced reporting because we have no political agenda or biases and we have consistently proven that through administrations, past and present,” sabi ni Ms. Jessica sa statement na 30 years naging loyal  na empleyado at kauna-unahang Vice President for News Programs ng Kapuso Network.

“I am a Kapuso through the core of my being. I have worked with only one (1) network throughout my entire career because I truly believe in the network’s independence and professionalism,” pahayag niya.

Nagsimula siya sa pagiging News Reporter hanggang 1988, Production News Manager (2000), Acting News Director (2002), Vice President for News (2004), Vice President for News Programs (2008) up to her last promotion last year (2013) as First VP for News Programs.

Kasama sa nakolektang award ng mga programa ni Jessica - KMJS and SONA - ang fourth George Foster Peabody Award para sa coverage of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

SONA also recently won Silver Medal in the US International Film and TV Festival (USIFV) also for its coverage of Typhoon Yolanda.

BRIGADA was given the Gold Medal and for the first time for the network and the Philippines, One World Medal.

Jessica was also recently named Most Trusted News Presenter, for the fourth consecutive year, by Reader’s Digest.

“I can never thank the network enough for everything it has given me and my family. I especially thank all my mentors- my bosses and cameramen in our old newsroom as well as my colleagues now- fellow managers, producers, reporters, talents and crews for the opportunity to lead them,” Jessica said.

“Krungkrung with our teacher Georcelle and one and only!!!

Pop princess Sarah Geronimo!!!  Ang galing!!!  Love u sarah and i missed u so much!!!”

I didn’t think about the wrong spelling because what mattered to me was your kindness & the thought behind the card.”
