Richard mas bumait kay Annabelle Rama nang magkaanak!

MANILA, Philippines - Ibang-iba na si Richard Gutierrez ngayon. Mas masaya ang aura at mas madaldal na. Panay ang k­uwento niya tungkol sa kanyang mag-inang Sarah Lahbati at Zion.

Nahihirapan na nga raw siyang umalis ng bahay dahil kay Baby Zion na nakatakdang binyagan sa Linggo.

Eh lately, busy si Richard sa newest offering ng GMA Films, Overtime, opposite Lauren Young, kaya madalas siyang umaalis ng bahay.

At dito raw niya mas lalong na-realize kung gaano kahirap ang maging ina. Nakita raw kasi niya ang mga pinagdaanan ni Sarah noong nagbubuntis hanggang manganak. Lalo na nga’t hindi naman sila gaanong nagkasama noong nagbubuntis si Sarah. “She was in Switzerland and I was stuck in Manila, with so many showbiz commitments. I was in the middle of a teleserye where I was the lead star, so it made it all doubly hard to leave,” pag-aalala ni Richard sa interview sa kanya ng Inside Showbiz na isinabay ang paglabas sa pag-ere ng episode sa It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez last Sunday night.

Kaya naman, mas naging mabait na siya sa inang si Annabelle Rama. “Imagine, anim pa kami. At parang magkakasunod pa kami, so ang laking hirap nun,” sabi ni Richard.

Normal delivery pala si Sarah sa Geneva, Switzerland.

Anyway,  Overtime is a suspense-action story that revolves around the lives of a hacker and its victim. The hacker has a vendetta against a pharmaceutical company and sends the resident secretary on a deadly mission: to wear a bomb to a press conference. A deadly game between the two transpires as the bomb ticks down to zero.

 Compared to his previous movie roles, Richard plays a totally different character in Overtime. “I’m playing a kind of bad guy but it’s more character-driven so the audience will take a journey on the life of this character even though it’s somewhat dark.”
