Banat News Hugyaw (BNH): WHY JOIN MISS CEBU?

Marga: Miss Cebu is one of what I have always dreamed. It’s my family who encouraged me to join because I have never believed that I am gonna make it as a finalist until I got in. Also, this will be a way for me to establish and widen my advocacies and to inspire the youth with my story.

BNH: GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR?

Marga: It would have to be joining Miss Cebu. Being a finalist of Miss Cebu is already an achievement. There are a lot of girls who auditioned and I got in.

BNH: DREAM IN LIFE?

Marga: I would like to be able to help my family by sending my other siblings to school. As for myself, I would like to become a VetMed or Flight Attendant.

Kirstie: I joined Miss Cebu for various reasons. Aside from my dream to be part of this prestigious pageant, I knew this is a platform for Cebuanas to showcase their beauty, wit, and their hearts to inspire others and to represent what a true Cebuana is

BNH: WHAT MAKES YOU PROUD OF CEBU?

Kirstie: Ang naka-proud nako sa Cebu kay amidst the continuous flourishing of modernization and developments, naa lang gihapon ang importansya sa mga Sugbuanon sa atong culture ug sa atong religion. Cebu offers the best of both worlds; the serene rural areas and a modernized city.

BNH: WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?

Kirstie: My mother is my icon of inspiration. She has been through a lot but maintained to be strong enough to face them all. She inspires me to become a better version of myself, she instilled to me values that I know will become handy in the near future.
