Loving in God’s Time

E-Group: Right now you are being linked to a Cebuana Eula Caballero, what is the real score between the two of you?

Daniel: Ha? Oh…yes we work together in a TV show in TV5, horror show called “Third Eye.” Eula, she is just a friend of mine.

E-Group: Friend for now?

Daniel: No, ahaha..she is just a friend of mine talaga. Kasi ano, we are very good friends, you know I enjoyed my work before in Third Eye. She is very young, I think 17. I’m almost 24(next month). You know there is no relationship between me and Eula. It’s just ano, friendship lang. She’s super mabait and we enjoy work together, you know not just me and Eula but the whole crew of Third Eye with Lorna Tolentino, Eddie Garcia..everybody. So we are always making jokes, ganon. Maybe somebody saw us making jokes, all of us in the group. Oh tsismis, they are trying to connect me with somebody else. She is just like a sister to me.

 E-Group: What is your priority now?

Daniel: Right now, I just want to focus more with my jobs kasi I just ended a relationship with Heart (Evangelista). So right now I’m just focusing on my career, career muna. Right now, wala, I’m not dating.

E:Group: You were spotted dating with Alyssa Gibbs the other night.

Daniel: Yeah with three other friends, it’s not a date. It’s just a friendly dinner.

E-Group: How your Heart healing?

Daniel: Very good. Very happy, enjoying a lot with my friends, my family. I did not get to spend a lot of time with my family last year, in the coming month so, I’m very much okay.

E-Group: Now that you are focusing on your career, does that mean you are not yet ready for another relationship?

Daniel: No, of course I’m ready, in God’s time. I’m a Christian and I believe that in God’s time, will come a perfect one. So for now, I’m just waiting and focusing talaga on my career.

E-Group: What was the wisdom you got from that relationship with Heart? Why did it have to end?

Daniel: I’ve learned a lot you know. It ended and unfortunately it ended pero we are still friends, we both learned a lot from each other. She’s amazing person. She’s not fake at all, she’s really nice person. And it did not happen…it did not happen. But our friendship is still the same.

E-Group: Are you convinced that Heart and Senator Chiz (Escudero) are really in love with each other? How do you see their relationship?

Daniel: Well, why not, why not? I don’t see any reason why not to be. Kasi ano, if she found her real love or something, you know it’s her personal taste, parang choice yes.

E-Group: You were quoted as saying na you are happy for the both of them.

Daniel: No, I am happy for her. If she really decided to have a life with somebody else, I’m happy for her. I wish her the best. Right now, I’ve totally moved on. I wish her the best  in her career and also in her life di ba? I have nothing against them. Even to meet one day Chiz you know. I heard a lot of good things about him, he is really a smart person and yeah I have nothing against him, I have nothing bad to talk about anybody you know. I have no reason to say any bad things.

E-Group: What is your level of friendship with Heart right now?

Daniel: My level of friendship with Heart? Well of course we are not the same as before, di ba as in a relationship. But yeah, if I see her in the street we will say hi and there’s no problem. But we don’t keep the same connection as before of course.

E-Group: How long did it take you to move on?

Daniel: Well, I’m not gonna say to you ano one week. Pero it was slowly, slowly with the time it was getting okay. Kasi you have the comfort of your friends, family you know.  Yung ganun..ahaha.

E-Group: How do you rate your career now with TV5?

Daniel: Well I’m really happy. Sobrang masaya ako na binigay sila ng opportunity dito sa Pilipinas. And a masaya, I’m very busy with ano, trabaho sa kanila. Kasi they give me a very big opportunity to build my career. The shows I have been doing is amazing kasi it’s a different role every show. Parang I’m learning a lot. It’s like I’m learning a bit of hosting, at the same time comedy Game ‘N Go, di ba every Sunday it’s a regular show and I’m part of it. And Third Eye is horror, so from comedy to horror. And then Enchanted Garden parang love triangle, ganun. So romance, horror, comedy, hosting you know. Parang they are teaching me slowly how to really become artista. Kasi bago ako sa business di ba? So I really appreciate what they are giving to me. It’s a big opportunity for my career here. Meron akong kontrata with them but it’s not exclusive. I’m very happy that they give me, non-exclusive so I still can do outside and movies and everything.

E-Group: If Heart will become single again, is there a chance for reconciliation?

Daniel: Aha, ahahahaha. Okay, ah, well I’m not sure, let’s see you know. I’m not gonna say to you, oh yes or no, you know. Kasi it’s not how it works eh, when you meet a person, it’s not just okay I want to date you whatever, it’s just talking muna. So baka pwede, baka hindi.

E-Group: I just wanna clear the air: The reason that you broke up was because of cultural differences?

Daniel: Well actually this is personal, I would not like to make, ah yeah probably cultural differences.

E-Group: And that her mom was against you?

Daniel: No no, they are not against me, they are okay. They are good parents to Heart.

E-Group: What is the smartest thing that you’ve learned about love and relationship?

Daniel: Smartest thing that it’s God. And that every relationship you learn a lot, you just don’t learn how to love, but learn how to live with each other, not just from your own understanding, but it is combination.

E-Group: Given the chance would vote for Senator Chiz?

Daniel: I would vote for him because he is very smart and he is very good.

E-Group: You haven’t met him yet…

Daniel: I haven’t met him yet but I’ve heard so many good things about him, so I’ll vote for him.

E-Group: But you are not registered here so you can’t vote.

Daniel: I’m not registered here, that’s why. But I would.
