ABS-CBN at GMA 7 naghahamunang magsabi ng totoo

Seen : Composed na composed na si Genelyn Magsaysay sa mga TV interview niya. Ang rebelasyon ni Genelyn na naging P150,000 ang dating P350,000 monthly allowance na natatanggap niya mula kay Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr. buhat nang ma-stroke ito.

Seen : Ang group dinner sa Passion restaurant noong Biyernes ng celebrity castaways ng Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Showdown.

Scene : Itim at pula ang motiff ng private wedding nina Nonito Jr. at Rachel Donaire noong November 11, 2011 sa Fernwood Brook Gardens, Alabang. Mga wedding sponsors sina Senator Pia Caye­tano at former President Joseph Estrada.

Scene : Nakaburol ang labi ni Lito Calzado sa Mt. Carmel Church, Broadway, QC at dito rin ibinurol noon ang kanyang namayapang asawa. Si Lito ang ama ni Iza Calzado at liver cancer ang kanyang ikinamatay.

Seen : Ang official statement ng GMA 7 tungkol sa claim ni Anne Curtis na hindi siya nakakanta sa USTv Students’ Choice Awards noong November 10 dahil hindi siya pinaakyat sa stage ng taga-GMA 7. Umani ng mga batikos ang GMA 7 dahil sa tweet ni Anne na late na dumating sa event:

Anne Curtis tweeted that she was not allowed by a GMA staff to go onstage in last night’s USTv Students’ Choice Awards kick-off. Here is GMA’s side of the story:

1. Prior to the event, network representatives had been briefed by the organizers/UST about the sequence of the programme. This was to be the basis for arranging our artists’ schedules and determining their call time  for the event.

2. Based on the schedule, GMA artists were supposed to perform at 7 pm. Our talents were at the venue as early as 5 pm. Last-minute insertion of ABS-CBN’s Banana Split cast in the programme however further pushed back the schedule.

3. Shortly before GMA’s number, GMA representatives confirmed the programme sequence with organizers. We were told that the Kapuso artists would be next. GMA was not aware nor informed by the organizers in any prior meeting that Anne Curtis will be part of the program.

4. When the GMA artists were about to go on stage, Anne Curtis, her handler and a student organizer approached a GMA representative to ask if she could go on stage first.  However, GMA staff declined and instructed the floor director an production staff to please proceed with the programme sequence, as the Kapuso stars also had other schedules to go to, and by this time were already waiting for nearly three hours.

5. GMA later found out that Ms. Curtis had left the venue and had tweeted about the incident.Ms. Curtis posted a series of tweets which elicited a lot of negative  reaction towards GMA. The fact is—we were simply sticking to theprogramme sequence provided by the organizers themselves.

We are certain Ms. Curtis had her own reasons for requesting to go onstage immediately, but the Kapuso artists also had their own respective schedules and had in fact been pushed back even prior to Ms. Curtis’ request.We are hoping that the organizers could come forward and clarify matters to avoid blowing things out of proportion.

SCENE : ABS-CBN’S OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE ANNE CURTIS-USTv ISSUE

Nais lamang naming ituwid ang ilang mga pangyayari sa naganap na USTv Awards’ launch kung saan si Anne Curtis ay naimbitahan para mag-perform.  

Si Anne ay dumating sa tamang oras base sa call time niyang 7:00 p.m. Batay sa orihinal na schedule, si Anne ay kakanta bandang 7:30 p.m. ngunit sa ‘di inaasahang pangyayari, ang oras ng programa ay nausog.

Dahil sa matagal nang naghihintay si Anne, na­pag­desisyunan ng mga tagapamahala ng USTv Awards na isalang na siya pagkatapos ng TV5 presentation at bago sumalang ang GMA artists.  

Hindi siya nakapag-perform o makabati man lang dahil pinigilan ng isang kinatawan ng GMA 7 na siya ay makalabas bago ang presentasyon ng GMA.  Ang pangyayari ay hindi na nakontrol ng organizers ng USTv Awards na siyang dapat may desis­yon sa produksyon.  

Nauunawaan ng ABS-CBN na nangyayari ang delay at mga ganitong kompromiso sa events tulad ng USTv Awards.  Dapat lamang na magkaroon ng bigayan at konsideras­yon sa mga ganitong sitwasyon.
