Eboy Bautista nag-goodbye sa TBL

- Ni KC -

MANILA, Philippines - Eliminated na after eighth weigh-in, Week 10 sa The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition si Eboy Bautista. Nagsimula siya sa timbang na: 481 lbs. at during his last weigh-in, 384 lbs na lang siya. Hindi na masama. Halos 100 lbs ang nabawas sa timbang niya.

How was your experience staying at the BL camp?

“It was a very interesting experience. While in the camp, I get asked that all the time and isa lang sagot ko parati, “It’s an experience. From all the body aches to my hand accident, I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything.”

Who knows what other things I could have picked up while in the camp. But, other than that, I have no regrets whatsoever. I made 15 new friends with the fellow contestants and a whole load of new friends from the production staff,” sagot ni Eboy.

“I would say my last week nung nagmake-over kami. Siyempre, hindi common sa matabang tao ang makiuso sa current fashion and we did that without having people judge us,” paliwanag niya.

“I would say the big challenges (All of Them). Mas mahirap pa ‘yun kaysa sa mga sessions namin with the trainers, kahit galit pa sila,” sabi niya.

“Siyempre, ang former red team, former blue team, Chinggay, Coach Jim, Fafa Derek (Ramsay), and Tita Sharon (Cuneta). Along the way, through the thick and thin, napamahal din sila sa akin. Sa loob ng camp, meron kang instant support group. We text a lot sa labas pero iba pa rin na kasama mo sila 24/7.”

Ano ang balak mo ngayong lumabas ka na sa camp?

“Ituloy and laban, as agreed upon among all the contestants. I also want to educate my family and friends about proper diet and exercise, and straighten out the myths about starvation and food deprivation. I want to spread the word sa lahat ng tao.”

Name the biggest lessons you learned from the BL experience, kay Sharon, Derek at sa mga trainer?

“I learned from Art that you can do things especially exercise if you just stop thinking and actually standing up to do it.

“From Chinggay, never say you can’t until you try. Chances are, kaya mo pala.”

Name three biggest changes in your life now? (It could be attitude, belief, lifestyle, etc.)

“Attitude : Nothing’s impossible even for overweight people. There are always baby steps just as long as you start somewhere.

“Belief: I am stronger that I think I am.

“Lifestyle: I and my family are now eating healthier.”

Who do you think will be the first BL winner?

“After Alan left, ako sana but I look at who are left and from there palang, I can see it is anyone’s game. Anyone can be the biggest loser.”
