“He loved helping children and was active with charity work in his youth,” sabi ng dating chairman ng Optical Media Board (OMB) tungkol sa kanyang namayapang ama. “This facility is a way to continue his passion in helping kids even though he passed away.”

“The AMCW provides a place where children with cancer can be treated in a comfortable and child friendly environment. It is actually the first of its kind in the country,” dagdag ni Dr. Gomez.

“My father Adrian loved children. And he was especially concerned with helping children in need, not only of pity for what they do not have. On the contrary, his heart went out to them in admiration for what they have, courage,” dagdag ni Edu sa kanyang speech last Thursday sa AMCW.

“The amenities and atmosphere of the ward are all aimed towards making chemotherapy and blood transfusions less traumatic for the kids.

“These children fight through pain every single day. The least we could do is help make it a bit easier for them. It may, perhaps, be the push that they’ll need to win over the disease,” sabi ni Edu na malapit na rin nating mapanood sa GMA 7.

The entire wing was designed and constructed kasama ang suporta ng Luis M. Zialcita Architects and Stages Design & Construction.
