Derek ayaw tanggalin sa leeg ang medalya

Proud na proud nang dumating sa bansa ang hunk actor na si Derek Ramsay last week. Mayroon pa siyang suot na medal galing sa isang Frisbee competition sa Singapore. Ibinahagi ni Derek sa amin sa SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) ang kanyang victory.

“A lot of hardwork, years na pinaghintay itong victory na ’to. Itong si coach Eric is one of the reasons na nakuha ko ang lakas, always motivating me, telling me what to do. So after three years nakuha natin, first time ito for the Philippines to get one international. I’m in the natural high to put this on my neck, a reward for me to wear it proud. Wala akong pakialam na nakasuot pa sa akin ito. Pumunta ako ng taping na suot pa rin itong medal. I don’t know when I wanna let go of this but this is my reward to me and to the team and sa Pilipinas,” masayang pahayag ni Derek.

Kuwento naman ni Coach Eric : “He’s always injured. I’m gonna answer for him because if you let him he’ll say yes. I don’t want him to think it is. He’s got more injuries than other people have in his whole life but he’s a pretty tough guy. His shoulder’s hurting, he can’t bend his legs, shot in the face, hit everywhere else, but if we have a game right now he’ll be the first one in the field.”

Carmen Soo hindi na kayang iwan ang ‘Pinas

Marami ang nakakapansin sa magandang performance ng Malaysian actress na si Carmen Soo sa Your Song Presents Beautiful Girl, kakaiba talaga ang karisma ni Carmen kaya pumatok ang tambalan nila ni Christian Bautista.

Maraming natatanggap na magagandang feedback si Carmen sa kanyang Twitter account mula sa kanyang mga tagahanga.

“Everytime we are airing and after that a lot of people I get numerous messages from them I guess it’s the best way to get feedback from them whether they are on TFC or Philippines. They all say they love it so we feel really good,” nakangiting bungad ni Carmen.

Matapos pabulaanan ng aktres ang diumano’y relasyon nila ni Direk Lino Cayetano ay napabalitang babalik na si Carmen sa Malaysia pagkatapos ng Your Song series nila ni Christian. “I’m doing a telemovie. It is actually another co-production of Malaysia and Germany. So we will be shot in Malaysia but our directors, actors, writers, will all be German. Those will be aired in both countries, Malaysia, and Germany,” dagdag pa ni Carmen.

Tuluyan na nga ba niyang iiwan ang career sa Pilipinas? “No! I’ll be back in a month when my projects are finished, spend time with family, and be back in a month from now,” nakangiting diin pa ni Carmen. Reports from JAMES C. CANTOS
